Stained: Production History

Stained was commissioned by New Radio and Performing Arts in 1991 for its series New American Radio. It received readings and workshop performances at the following theaters and retreats: The Voice and Visions Retreat for Women Theater Artists (1993), Company One Theater (1993 and 1994), American Living Room Festival at Here Theater (1994), and the African American Performance Art Festival at Aaron Davis Hall (1995). It received a 1995 Bessie Award.
